Getting Ready for March Madness

Prior to the season, there were many question marks entering the season. With the departure of JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore, offense was seemingly going to be Purdue's weakness, but rely on defense to stay competitive.

Proving that pre-season predictions are nothing more than conjecture, Purdue has proven everyone wrong. Purdue has had no problems offensively, but have many issues on the defensive end. Thankfully Purdue has eeked out a 6-1 start while they adjust to the new rotations.

It's becoming more and more clear that Purdue has a legitimate shot to be included in the NCAA tournament this season. Along with brushing up on poker rules, I am doing my homework for my annual trip to Las Vegas. Purdue might be a solid underdog to bed on if you identify improvements on the defensive end. This team has a high ceiling.

This season, I have full confidence that Purdue will be able to fund plenty of poker rooms for me this season!

Boiler Up!
